Let’s face it: no one goes to a gym or fitness club thinking that they will visit some kind of aesthetic heaven. Frankly speaking, that’s not the case at all: most of sport centers can score points if they don’t have the plaster falling off a ceiling or the well-known, horrid smell greeting us at the doors… Those places have, above all, a functional nature: everyone wants to come in, do what they need to do and leave as fast as possible, hopefully avoiding any kind of eye contact with our companions in misfortune… err… training. Sounds gloomy? Wait! This is the kind of mindset that gives us potential to assure our advantage over our competition. After all, if no one expects a great visual effect they’ll be even more impressed when they see one, right? Right! So, if you want to stand out from your competition, make sure that your gym (or fitness club of any other type!) is decorated in an interesting and inspiring way. Poster for gym and gym wallpapers are one of the most efficient ways to do it! We’ll show you how to use them to achieve a truly spectacular effect.

The motivating power of colors is something that fitness club owners seem to completely ignore, stubbornly choosing various shades of white and gray for their business interiors. That’s a huge mistake! Research shows that warm colors (like red, orange and yellow) add energy and slightly improve our metabolism and heart rate: therefore, gym wallpapers in those shades will be a perfect choice for a fitness club interior! You can go a bit crazy and choose fitness murals in very bright colors, which wouldn’t be fitting for private apartments and company offices, because, by nature, gyms and fitness clubs aren’t usually places where we spend countless hours: there’s no risk that a given color will bore us after some time!
Posters are usually the only decoration of places dedicated for physical activity. On average, fitness posters are selected at random: here’s an anatomy poster, there’s an ad for the newest protein shake, in some places you can see images of headless, sculpted torsos or other motifs of this kind. But all it takes is just a bit of planning and creativity to change a clichéd gym poster into a true decorative gem! How can we do that? The easiest way would be to stop applying decoration at random and start planning their placement: for example, you can create a “wall of inspiration” where instead of one sad gym poster you could apply a row of posters (they must be in the same style and format!) that share the same motif. For example, three black and white fitness posters depicting people during their trainings. Or, if you prefer something more original and very, very stylish – four pictures of ancient sculptures with beautifully carved muscles. The ideas are countless: what’s most important is consistency!

It’s commonly known that gym wallpapers have a decorative function, but that doesn’t mean that they are otherwise useless. On the contrary, it’s worth to use fitness mural to stylishly divide your interiors into different areas! How? It’s easy! Forget about boring information signs: exchange them for fitness mural with a fitting design. Cardio area? Great, decorate it’s walls with an image of a man on a stationary bike. Weight room? A fitness mural depicting a smiling woman lifting dumbbells or barbells will be an obvious decoration. Zumba room? Locker room? Swimming pool? Showers? You know what to do!

Gym wallpaper may also have a less obvious decorative function: you can use them to optically increase and lighten up your interior. If your fitness club have a room that seems narrow and stuffy (no one wants to feel claustrophobic while breaking their weight-lifting record or sweating their life out on a treadmill), decorate them with a mural in lighter shades. It should have a fitness motif, but besides that just make sure that it’s not too dark. Bright colors make spaces seem larger and more spacious – so they do exactly what you need. It’s already easier to breathe!
